BlastAway Soda Blasting Service is the newest alternative in
coating removal. Soda blasting safely removes paint and other
coatings without damage or warping the substrate. Unlike other
media coating removal systems, BlastAway uses sodium bicarbonate,
also known as baking soda, which is also environmentally friendly.
How it works...
BlastAway uses specially cut sodium bicarbonate particles that
are propelled through through the air using high compressed air.
These particles become charged with energy, which creates a tiny
explosion when coming in contact with a surface. It is this
explosion which removes the undesired coating. Unlike other medias
that use their hardness to dig and chip, soda blasting is hard
enough to get the same results, but soft enough not to cause any
